Nothing Sums Up Duke Basketball Better Than This Picture Of Kyle Filipowski, Who Miraculously Is Reportedly Expected To Play Tonight

Let me say, I for one, am happy that Kyle Filipowski is not seriously hurt. We need to be able to get jokes off and make fun of everyone who is screaming about banning court storms. But I mean come on. Look at this fucking picture. Everyone has said it and it's true, it's just this kid grown up.

Oh and to be clear, this is being reported

Miracles happen! I mean we spent 5 of the dumbest days arguing about arresting people for court storms because of a sprained ankle turned knee injury turned all-time recovery. We spent 5 days screaming at people who dared to say I don't know, there's been a thousand court storms with no problems, maybe it's not that big of a deal. Luckily we're witnessing battling through strength and incredible will power to be expected to play in the next game. I honestly thought they'd sit him since they play Louisville and would want to prove a point. That would be almost too on brand for Duke though, I guess.

Duke basketball is fueled by pretentious assholes with punchable faces. It doesn't matter what era we're talking about, that's Duke basketball. They are defended by a majority of people in the NY/NJ area who can't point to North Carolina on a map, let alone know where Durham is. We come together as a country to make fun of Duke and celebrate their losses. We paused making fun of (former) Coach K with him no longer on the sidelines, so we have players like Filipowski. He joins a long line of guys that we should hate. Grayson Allen, Cherokee Parks, Wojo, Laettner, Redick, Matthew Hurt, Paulus, any Plumlee, Kyrie. The list is endless!

No one is happy Filipowski or any other player got hurt. That's the dumbest take in the world. No one with a brain is cheering for injuries. We cheer for Duke to lose and can laugh at outrageously funny pictures. That's what's happening here. It's the perfect timing, the face, everything. It's Duke basketball. This is how you sum up their program.
