Katy Perry Posted A Video Of Herself Singing Along To Bad Blood At Taylor Swift's First Show In Sydney, How Far We've Come

Sometimes I forget how intense the beef between Katy Perry and Taylor Swift was, but every once in a while when I see her pop up like this, it really shows how far they've come. For those who forget, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift had a MAJOR issue with each other before the 1989 album came out. I'm fuzzy on the details, but I know it had something to do wih Katy Perry getting caught talking shit in a jealous way after the two were presumed to be friends. The result, Bad Blood:

The beef lasted for YEARS, Katy being referenced on Taylor's Reputation album as well on Look What You Made Me Do, and we all just assumed it was completely over for these two. Pop Stars cant be friends!! Only anger and jealousy can exist between these two women! 

Much to our surprise, when the Lover album came out with the "You Need To Calm Down" music video, who made a guest appearance? KATY PERRY. Dressed as a cheeseburger (she wore this to the Met Gala) and Taylor threw on a french fry costume. Reunited at last, beef squashed, proof that women can overcome pettiness for real friendship, with time:

Fast forward to 2024, and Katy Perry is bopping along to the original beef song in Sydney, Australia, alongside 89,000 other people. Wild stuff! I always wonder who was really the guilty party in this beef, if it got blown out of proportion and if at the end of the day, it never needed to happen in the first place. If two people are able to overcome some bullshit like this, I imagine it just wasn't worth it in the end. You never want to have more enemies than you do friends.
