Molly McCann fought at Strawweight for the first time in her career tonight, and looked so great in her performance that she apologized to Dana White and the UFC for not fighting at 115 since she got signed! 

Molly attacked Diana Belbita relentlessly from the opening bell, breaking into range with pressure and ripping body shots and elbows, mixing it up and landing takedowns as well - and it only took her one round to find the finish. 

In the closing seconds of the first, McCann hit a slick transition from mount to armbar and got the tap at the buzzer….

You could see how much that win meant to her afterwards, having dropped her last two fights to Erin Blanchfield and Julija Stoliarenko, and I couldn't be happier for her and the team watching them get back on track.
