This Around-The-Post Snipe From Pro Pickleball Player James Ignatowich Was A Certified Panty Dropper

There aren't many feelings better than hitting an ATP. It makes you feel a little naughty inside. Like you just did something dirty that you really shouldn't be allowed to do. You have this entire sport where the concept is to put the ball over the net to your opponent, and all of a sudden you decide to change the game and go around the post instead. It feels like it should be illegal, but you're so damn happy that it's not when you break one out. It's fun being bad.

And that's just on any given, run of the mill ATP. But what James Ignatowich did right here? Getting pushed wide off the kitchen line, desperation backhand flick, and still manages to paint that back corner from this position?

Well that's just flat out nasty behavior. That's a man with bad intentions. That's the kind of shot that makes every pair of panties within a 20 mile radius immediately hit the eject button. Heck, my panties are off while writing this blog right now.

Sidenote: In rec play, your opponent is calling that ball out 100 times out of 100. They don't even get a chance to see it land in, but they figure there's no shot in hell that anyone can get a ball to drop from that spot. And if you ever manage to pull off a shot even a fraction as nasty as this one from James Ignatowich at your local open play and your opponent calls it out, you have the green light from your ol' Uncle Jordie to snap their paddle in half.
