The Swifties Are Hailing Colin Cowherd as Their King After He Defended Taylor's Airtime During Chiefs Games

Maybe the most improbably storyline to come of Taylor Swift's relationship with Travis Kelce is the Swifties becoming massive Colin Cowherd fans. In the last year, we've gone from them focusing all of their possible energy on Taylor's tour and ending her relationship with Matty Healy to them sharing clips from The Herd. What a world.

Every person in sports media would be smart to take a page out of Cowherd's book here and make allies of the Swifties. All it takes is one 30-second clip like this to make the rounds and now you have the internet's most rabid group of fans on your side for the foreseeable future. Even if you don't believe what you're saying, it's a worthwhile trade.

Cowherd is absolutely right, though. They show Taylor like three or four times throughout the actual game, meanwhile we're all subjected to the iPhone outlet commercial six times during that same period.

I know which of those I'd rather see multiple times during a football game and it ain't the R&B-singing outlet.

Good on Colin for calling out all the betas who can't handle a little Taylor Swift intertwined with their NFL. Couldn't be me. 13 and 87 forever.
