I Seriously Love George Kittle

Can you believe the face on Kittle in that interview? The authentic look of pure joy.

At first you'd be correct to think that he was just thrilled his team snatched victory out of the jaws of defeat like they did at home to advance to the Super Bowl. But come to find out, thanks to NFL Films and Kittle being mic'd up for the game, it was only partially that.

He was equally, if not more, happy that he got to drop the famous internet meme quote for everybody.

The meme/clip

And Kittle going around telling everybody he can't wait to say it after the game

And after…

Just laugh out loud funny.

Was he more happy the 9ers pulled off that comeback? Or that he got to tell everybody his story?

Kittle seems like a guy who legit always remembers he gets paid a filthy amount of money to play a kid's game. And like he genuinely enjoys the hell out of it.

He's an absolute stud tight end, a good dude, and I think has to be the #1 guy in the NFL you'd love to get hammered with at a blackjack table.

p.s. - the look on the face of Brock Purdy standing on the sideline in the 3nd quarter while his team was getting throttled, having Kittle come up to him all excited to tell him that is fucking gold.

You can just tell how bad he wants to tell Kittle to get out of his face, ask what the fuck he's talking about, or to tell him to get his ass open (Kittle had only 2 catches for 27 yards in the win).

p.p.s- Fun fact about the "They had us in the first half" meme.

The image comes from an interview with Apollos Hester, a high school running back for the East View Patriots. On September 21st, 2014, TWC News Austin posted an interview with Hester after his team won a game 42-41 against opponents Vandegrift.

The video went viral, gaining over 10 million views on YouTube and seeing media coverage from ESPN and Chicago Tribune.
