Woman Goes Viral After Getting Kicked Out Of Her Best Friend's Bachelorette Party For Posting Photos Of The Trip On Instagram

Source - Til an Instagram upload do us part. A young woman claims she was uninvited from her close friend’s wedding because she posted bachelorette party pictures to social media without approval.

Amy Dickinson alleges that the bride-to-be “never spoke” to her again after she made the faux pas back in 2019.

The peeved pal took to TikTok to detail the bride’s alleged breakdown in a two-part video series that has already clocked up close to 1.2 million views.

The TikTokker explained that she and the bride-to-be were “really good friends” and that she forked out $1,000 to attend her bachelorette party weekend, held on a tropical island on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.

On the final night of the bachelorette party weekend, the bride implemented a phone ban at dinner, before blasting an attendee for subsequently snapping some photos.

Shortly after the bachelorette party weekend concluded and Dickinson returned home, she received a phone call from the friend.

“Hey, Amy, I’ve been thinking about what happened over the weekend and I just don’t think I’d feel comfortable having you at the wedding,” the bride-to-be reportedly told Dickinson, who had already bought a $650 dress for the nuptials.

More than four years on, Dickinson still hasn’t made amends with her former friend, who is now married.

Wow. What an awesome group of ladies. Drama free and full of fun. I'm sure every single one of them is an absolute blast to hang out with. Especially the bride and that lady who is STILL holding onto the fact that she got kicked out of a bachelorette four years after the fact. Having said that, there are three sides to every story...one person's side, the other person's side, and the truth. I would be shocked if everything that woman said in her TikTok was accurate. One of the two was either shit faced, obnoxious, or both. If you can stomach a five minute TikTok video here's her explaining what happened....

Regardless, if you are on a Bachelor/Bachelorette party you don't take your phone out. Anyone with a brain knows that. It doesn't even matter if you're doing anything bad, you just don't do it. Maybe I'm old school, but I come from the era of what happens on the bachelor/bachelorette stays on the bachelor/bachelorette. Even writing that sentence makes me nervous because I know some of my friend's wives are going to read this and ask them about theirs. And yeah, I've been to some unbelievably grimy bachelor parties, but the same rules apply to the wholesome ones. Do not take your phone out unless you are 100% sure everyone is okay with it. That's the entire point of a bachelor party - to disconnect and hang out with your boys. Being on your phone makes you a dick and posting photos makes you an asshole.

Now obviously I'm not talking about posting a group photo at dinner, but documenting the weekend for public consumption is a no no. Which brings me to my main point...this girl deserved to be kicked out. They had a no phone rule and she violated it. End of story. Thanks for reading.
