I Was In Ann Arbor For The National Championship And It Was MADNESS

This was some of the most fun I’ve had since I started doing content at Barstool. I feel like I got out of my comfort zone a little bit. It was fun. It obviously helped that my favorite college football team in the world won the national championship. That’s some once-in-a-lifetime shit, and it was really an honor to be on campus. There was nowhere else I would’ve rather been. It was a perfect location, and the fans were just awesome. I’m still trying to find my footing with this stuff and trying to find that fine line between awkward and charming. Interacting with the fans in Ann Arbor definitely helped a lot.

One thing I realized while watching this is that I’m a fucking maniac when I watch sports. In fairness, it’s the national championship. You can’t get any higher than that at this level. But I’m usually not like that with baseball. I say that now, but if the Tigers ever got good, and were making a deep run through the postseason, I’d probably be setting myself on fire. I’m a passionate guy. I got hired by this company for reacting to something that happened at a sporting event. Don’t be afraid to go back to your fastball. I still got a good heater.

One of the coolest things about this job is that so much of what you do is documented. That has its downsides. I’ve learned that the hard way, but when you experience something as euphoric as a championship, the fact that I can go back and watch this footage whenever I want makes this really special. I usually have a permanent scowl on my face. If any good comes from this, I can at least show the Barstool world that I can smile. It was one of my best nights, and I can’t wait to do similar content starting soon. I hope y’all enjoyed it.
