BREAKING: Trevor Zegras Is Now Going To Have To Piss By Himself After Anaheim Ducks Trade Away His Best Friend

A lot has been made about last night's Cutter Gauthier for Jamie Drysdale trade from the perspective of the Flyers losing Gauthier. Not nearly as much has been brought up about the Ducks losing Drysdale. That's most likely due to the fact that the Anaheim Ducks are a small market team and nobody cares about them. Maybe it's due to the fact that they currently have a surplus of young, offensively skilled defensemen who made Drysdale a little more expendable to their rebuild. But at the end of the day, the Ducks lost a really good player and Trevor Zegras lost a best friend.

Truth be told, I really feel for Zegras here. This is just the way life goes. We've all been there before. The older you get, the more your friend group starts to dwindle down. One of your best friends gets a new job in a new city. Before the move, you're both adamant that you'll be visiting each other all the time, and it'll be like nothing ever changed. But then you have kids, work gets busy, life just gets in the way, and eventually you're lucky if you even see each other once or twice a year. You're still great friends and talk all the time, but it's a far cry from the glory days of peeing together.

Now Zegras has to piss by himself. Do you think Pat Verbeek took that into consideration when he pulled the trigger on this Drysdale trade for Gauthier? I mean, yeah, the Ducks already have guys like Pavel Mintyukov and Olen Zellweger and Tristan Luneau to man the blueline for years to come. But are any of those dudes going to rock a piss with Zegras? Any of those dudes going to drain the snake with Z? Doubtful. The Ducks may have gotten a great left wing prospect out of Cutter Gauthier, but Trevor Zegras lost a great urinal linemate in the process. Hate to see it.

Sidenote: Drysdale already looks great in Flyers orange. It's a shame that Gauthier will never get a chance to try it on.
