Whoever Started The Rumor That We Were Getting Some Massive EA Sports NCAA Football Video Game News Last Night Should Be In Jail

I don't know who started this or how we got to the point but last night was supposed to be a massive night in the video game world. We were going to get news, a trailer, a release date, whatever about EA Sports NCAA Football. It's a game that we all love. It's a game that we all wanted to come back. You know what we got? NOTHING! Anudder let down!

All I know is I heard there would be news and social media and the Internet never lie. I've never once heard of a made up story on the Internet. I never once heard of people exaggerating a story on the Internet. If people say we are getting a release date and possibly a commercial I expect as much. 

It also would have been perfect to announce something, anything last night. Hell you could have said something simple with 'coming August' or something even open-ended like that and we would have ate it up. Like I said, we are craving this game back in our lives. We just want to take our team and turn them into a dynasty. We want to build up a no-name program. We want to play the video game! 

This has to go to the top. I have my tinfoil hat on. Could ESPN be in cahoots with this all? They wanted a bigger audience than normal for the college football national title. You tease a little bit about EA Sports and you get the gamer community in too. I'm not ruling anything out when it comes to ESPN or putting anything past them.

You have Michigan winning its first title since 1997. You had a close game in the second half. Yet all people could do was bitch about nothing from EA Sports. We're waiting. We're done waiting patiently. All I know is whoever started this rumor better come forward so we know who to hate. That and we better get this game. I don't want it to be Madden just with college guys. I want the old school feel. I want everything that made this game great. Easily the worst part of the night.
