Love Seeing Matthew McConaughey Take His 'Minister Of Culture' Title A Little Too Serious And Start Coaching Guys On The Texas Sideline Last Night

I see people clowning on Matthew McConaughey for this sort of stuff, but let me ask you this. Wouldn't you do the same thing if you were rich, famous, good looking and could get away with it? The answer is yes. I don't care what team you love the most, you would 100% start coaching the guys up if you could. The difference is he's Matthew McConaughey and we're just regular slobs who dream about it.

We need to know what he was saying to the players in the huddle though. You know he wanted to call a play or two and I'm not ruling out that he did. No doubt in my mind that McConaughey remembered some of his lines from We Are Marshall and decided to start telling the boys to run the plays last night. Would have been a bit better than Sark's calls late.

Good luck being the guy to tell McConaughey to get back. He's not going to listen nor should he. He pours money into the program and should be the face of it. Him and Vince Young just hanging out talking about the good old days. The video of him trailing Sark making motions, he really thinks he's on the staff and that's just fine. I say let him. There are 422 different types of coaches on staff for football teams, just give him some quality control title and let him do his thing. He'll negotiate a call or two your way.

Oh and the final play video? Again. Find me a fan that hasn't been like that. Horns up praying for a miracle and just about got it. Say what you want about the guy but he lives and dies for Texas. That can play any day in my book.
