Courts Ruled The Dumbass European Soccer Super League Can Be Played, Will Fail Miserably (Again) After A Bunch Of Clubs Refused To Play In It

[Source] - The court has determined Fifa and Uefa acted against competition law when they blocked the formation of a European Super League in 2021.

But conspirators Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus are refusing to give up on their breakaway project despite it crashing and burning inside 48 hours two years ago.

But that would NOT include any Premier League clubs, with Madrid-based sports marketing firm A22 using the success of English football as a justification for the new tournament.

Here we go again with this dumbass European Super League. We're a few years into the making here and you may remember when this first was announced the backlash every club who agreed to play faced. There were protests, people freaking out and eventually everyone besides Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus pulled out. Those are the only 3 still looking at playing. Why is it dumb you may be asking?

Simple. There's too much shit in club soccer already. We have a little thing the Champions League, which is basically this just not without a 'season' or promotion/relegation unless you want to count the Europa League as part of that. We have the domestic leagues. We have a million in-season tournaments like the Carabao Cup. Here's how they are trying to set it up:

This would be a good idea if we didn't have Champions League. Guess how you make this Super League? Performance in your domestic league. Sound familiar? They are trying to have it be set up where games won't interfere with domestic league matches. Okay, cool. Here's the problem:

And perhaps the most brutal statement:

Incredible quote about the two clubs. But you get the point. There's no one available to play. All these clubs have come out and said they aren't interested. So who is gonna play in this? The Saudi teams? Some low-level tier teams just so they can fill out a bunch of spots? Give me a break. It's not exactly a secret fans in Europe hate this idea. It's a cultural thing with the reaction. They fear it will ruin domestic leagues down to 4th and 5th tiers. Soccer is supposed to be for the working class in Europe and is set up that way in terms of seeing games, when they are played, etc.

There's just no shot this thing ever works out. The backlash from the original announcement killed it. Clubs aren't going to deal with that and as long as there's a Champions League there's no need for this. Just give it up already.
