Everyone Needs To Stop Making Fun Of George Pickens For Giving Zero Effort On Blocks, He Just Doesn't Want To Get Hurt (His Words)

Previously in Steelers wide receivers working their ass off:

Now we know why and it's hard to blame them. He doesn't want to get hurt. He saw Tank Dell shatter his leg blocking on the goal line trying to help his team score while fighting for a playoff spot. What happens if they make the playoffs? No wide receiver. Whoever will Mason Rudolph or Mitch or whoever else is playing QB throw the ball too if George Pickens is out? Ever think of that? Nope, only George Pickens thought of that.

I'm actually just convinced George Pickens is trying to force his way out of Pittsburgh. Between his temper tantrums and quotes like this, we're a step away from him sitting down on the field when it's a rushing play. Just take all heart out of it and sit down pouting. I ain't getting hurt! Getting hurt sucks. I'm not even talking about a serious injury, jamming a finger or something. No thank you.

I'm also waiting for Pickens to start blaming everyone else. Me? Block? We have an offensive line! Maybe Jaylen Warren should cut inside a bit more and score. Not my fault that I'm not trying. The fact he though the best excuse was 'not trying to get hurt' is fucking hilarious too. He could have said anything. He could have said, yeah I'll try harder, that's on me. But what's the point of that? He doesn't want to lie.

This is a fair warning to his teammates. Don't run towards me if you want a block. Plus, if you didn't play football you wouldn't understand effort.
