Josh Emmett Sends Bryce Mitchell To The Shadow Realm With A SCARY KO

Holy fuck. What a god damn knockout. I think Daniel Cormier said on commentary that was one of the hardest punch knockouts he's ever seen, and it may be recency bias, but I think I agree. That was a one hitter quitter to the nth degree from Josh Emmett that sent Bryce Mitchell to the shadow realm and immediately caused him to have what looked like seizure convulsions. Incredibly scary stuff.

Mitchell accepted this fight on 10-days notice and still came in as a sizable favorite (because we all expected him to go in and deliver one of his usual grapplefucking performances) but Josh Emmett just reminded everyone who has the most knockdowns in UFC featherweight history real quick. This was really the first sequence of the fight and obviously - it was the last.

Bryce took his last loss really harshly, so I hope he doesn't feel the urge to retire after this one again....

....because the sport is better when Bryce Mitchell is around. It's as simple as that.

Don't forget about Josh Emmett tho! Don't write him off!

PADDY THE BADDY TIME!
