No Thank You: Bengals DT DJ Reader Warns All Haters That He Has Plenty Of Time To Fight People, Just At Him On Twitter
Let me be the first to say, I do not want to fight DJ Reader. I will lose. It will be me running for my life and a very large man catching me. I can admit that. That's why I respect this. I mean, it's still crazy to admit you search your name on Twitter. Not sure why anyone would do that. But I respect that he's willing to say he has time to fight with people he just wants to make it easy. At him, he doesn't care. Hell, there's a good chance he'll respond.
I'll say this, at least he's not using a burner. If you're an athlete and you want to mix it up with fans, you have every right to. It's easier than ever to talk to an athlete because of social media. You can air your grievances out whenever you'd like, put a little at symbol and bam, it's at least there for them to read if they want. But it needs to be fair play all around. No burner accounts, put your name on it from both sides. This way if DJ Reader does say he wants to fight, he knows who he's looking for.
If I'm a Bengals fan I'm a little worried though. Can't have this talk when trying to chase down a playoff spot. Wait until the offseason to fight fans and haters. They'll be there, especially if you miss the playoffs. That's when you can blow off steam and just scroll Twitter all day.
Let me say it again just to be safe. I do not want to fight DJ Reader.
PS: Speaking of fights, tonight is the night. You got Wallo, Gillie and Large on the call. No headgear. I mean, come on, it's the perfect Friday night entertainment.
