Manny Machado Might Win The Whole Dang Thing

We had a bit of a shakeup in The Show fantasy league. The top team took a tumble and Dave Portnoy is no longer the points leader. But let's start with the red hot Manny Machado. After starting off 3-4, he's really hit his stride. Not only does he have the league's most explosive player in Tyreek Hill, but he's got an guys that are way overachieving in Sam Howell, Brian Robinson, and Courtland Sutton. George Kittle presents another explosive option and if two or three of those guys go OFF, he's gonna be tough to take out in the playoffs.

Alex Bregman and Brian McCann benched their 2nd round pick, Patrick Mahomes in a Hail Mary effort to get back into it. However, they left what would've been their top performer, Calvin Ridley on the bench. Manny moves into 3rd place with that 4th straight win.

Mike Trout takes another tumble! The 1st place team loses his 2nd straight game, falling to Dave Portnoy in the final series of Monday Night Football.

Trout going Mike Evans over DJ Moore was tough. It turns out that having Ja'Marr Chase, Adam Thielen, Mike Evans, and DJ Moore turned out to be a hinderance this week as the wrong move cost him the win. This win also puts Dave back in the playoff mix as the #5 seed and being 2nd in points.

The new #1 seed is Jake Marisnick and Andrew Benintendi who just continue to stock pile the Ws.

This week behind strong efforts from Justin Herbert and Breece Hall, they took down the reigning champion, Wil Myers who is having a tough season and when Royce Freeman cracks your starting lineup, that's never a good sign.

In a pivotal playoff positioning matchup, the trio of Joc Pederson, Austin Barnes, and Alex Wood took down JT Realmuto and Kyle Schwarber. Realmuto and Schwarber have been having a really solid rookie campaign, but only got two players in double digits this past weekend.

Meanwhile the Joc/Barnes/Wood trio got big games from Lamar Jackson, DeVonta Smith and the Cowboys D/ST who has been huge for them this season. They move into 4th place with Realmuto/Schwarber falling to 6th with their loss.

There is a new points scored leader and it's Eric Hosmer who has turned his season around with back-to-back wins. Hosmer got a clutch game from T.J. Hockenson on Sunday Night Football to put him over the hump.

On the other side, Mike Moustakas' comeback falls short as he had won a few in a row to get back into the mix. This loss puts him on the brink of elimination with three weeks to play.

He's now one game back of Mike Napoli, who dropped his 6th straight game. The injury bug bit hard with Mark Andrews leaving in the 1st drive of the Ravens game on Thursday Night Football. He could've really used that production against Shane Bieber and Austin Hedges who are rolling right now racking up their 3rd straight win.

Bieber and Hedges got massive games from Brock Purdy, Jahmyr Gibbs, and DK Metcalf. They are just on the outside looking in, but pose a real threat to Dave Portnoy and JT Realmuto/Kyle Schwarber for that final playoff spot.

Here's where we stand with three weeks left in the regular season:
