The Sixers Looked Really Solid Without James Harden And Of Course Daryl Morey Is Liking Tweets That Agree

Ah the pettiness. Gotta love a good ol' fashioned paltry war amongst millionaires over a kid's game. Of COURSE Daryl Morey is going to support the take of the Sixers are going to wait to find the proper return for their superstar who gets rejected to board the team plane by Sixers security. Should he be out there publicly liking Tweets? Probably not. But whatever. Confucius once said sometimes pettiness is the proper way to move on. Probably.

As for the Sixers actually playing real basketball last night entering into the Giannas and Dame terror dome in Milwaulkee…

Yes, they lost by 1. Obviously they lost. I repeat, the Sixers lost. But between the overall effort and a DRAMATIC improvement in cohesiveness under Nick Nurse, maybe this team has a shot at more than a 2nd round exit? Tyrese Maxey could/should be a certified all-star this season and newcomers Pat Bev and Kelly Oubre filled in nice both on the court and, well still on the court but great:

Not saying Oubre is gonna go for 27 off the bench every game while shooting 5-6 from deep, but he could be a great, important find for this team. We all knew the Sixers would be "Not That Bad", which in NBA terms means 3-6 seed and pure purgatory. But at least they should be in the upper echelon of good before the Celtics or Bucks naturally ruin everything in the Eastern Conference Playoffs. Heck, maybe if they do somehow get something close to an adequate return for Harden they can have a chance at something. Anything.

Shit like this don't help tho. C'mon, refs…

Onward to the Raptors on Saturday where St. Nick makes his return to Canada. Hey, we've got life on the court, baby. Right now that's all Sixers fans can really ask for. Cue it.
