Britney Spears Explained Why She Posts Herself Nude On Instagram Constantly
SOURCE - In an excerpt reviewed by the New York Times, Spears attempted to explain why she loves sharing her body and innermost feelings with fans online.
"I know that a lot of people don’t understand why I love taking pictures of myself naked or in new dresses," she wrote.
She continued writing, "But I think if they’d been photographed by other people thousands of times, prodded and posed for other people’s approval, they’d understand that I get a lot of joy from posing the way I feel sexy and taking my own picture."
Being super famous sounds fucking horrible. It seems that whenever you reach an immense level of fame, life seems go awry. Look at Michael Jackson, Kanye West, Elvis Presley or Madonna. It must be so hard to stay sane when no one around you can understand what you are going through. There isn't a manual for being one of the most famous people in the world. Maybe even worse, there is no manual for when you are no longer as famous. It must be a very lonely existence.
That's not to say Britney Spears isn't still a massive celebrity. But she's not where Taylor Swift currently is. But Britney is so famous that she's reached a level where the fame will never go away. She'll always be in the spotlight. That's got to be a frightening reality to face.
I don't see her posting near-nudes on IG to be that bad. I know her sons are embarrassed by it and that makes total sense. She's their Mom. But for everyone else, as long as she's not hurting herself or others, who cares? Now, videos like this are much more alarming.
Yeah, I don't think those are fake knives Brit. That's a lot scarier than her wanting to take off her clothes in the tub or the ocean. I can see how your sanity is tested when everything you do is being judged by everyone. People are literally up in arms and she has to explain herself because she's sort of naked on her own Instagram.
She wants to dance all crazy, let her. She wants to get naked and put little flowers over her nipples, why complain? As a society, we can't all scream "FREE BRITNEY!" and then judge her when she has autonomy. It's like people want her to be on her own as long as it's the freedom that works for everyone. It's not going to be that way. She was the most famous singer in the world before she was 25 and shaved her head in an act of rebellion. Things are not going to be easy for her. Let her be naked if she wants and shut the fuck up.
