Hello, Friends: Jim Nantz Stopped During A Walk To Commentate A Random Person's Tee Shot At Pebble Beach, Dude Puts One Right On The Green

Before we state how awesome this is, this is terrifying. Jim Nantz is the voice of golf. He has the voice that everyone knows. You're already nervous as shit teeing off a par 3 at Pebble. I don't care who you are, the normal, average golfer gets nervous just wanting to not fuck up on a legendary course. You already get friends chirping you, the last thing you need is a legend going for a stroll and just stopping to deliver a call for your shot. It's a miracle this dude put it on the green. Need to know if it was 1 take, because if Nantz is lurking over your shoulder doing a call, there's a good shot you hosel one 42 yards to the right.

I also need to know how much Nantz does this. Is this just him warming up for golf season? We know he's out of college basketball. It's going to be weird not calling him a Final Four, no matter what you think of him. He's now strictly a football and golf guy and golf has always been his first love. I mean look at his house - or at least one time house at Pebble.

Think about it this way and think every weekend golfer can relate to this scenario. Group in front of you lets you finally play through on about hole 6. What happens? 1 outta the 4 guys you're with puts one in the fairway. Someone tops a drive. Someone shanks one to the woods. It happens 100% of the time. This is basically that but with Jim Nantz just talking as you're getting ready to swing.

Need to know if he made the putt.
