The NCAA Reached A New Level Of Pathetic - They Won't Recognize James Madison's Stats Or Let Them Play In A Bowl Game Because Of An Asinine Rule

Being the professional journalist here, I wanted to do my own research and not get duped by Twitter. My results are as follows. The NCAA is a fucking joke who deserves to be mocked every single second of every single day. That tweet above is true. I went to the NCAA's official webpage and what do you know:

No James Madison. The NCAA already has the dumbest rule going (I know there's plenty to choose from). The rule is simple, since JMU moved from FCS to FBS they can't compete in bowl games despite being arguably the best group of 5 team in the country this year.

We've seen this come up in college basketball and now James Madison. Uhh, why? It was supposed to be a way to scare teams from making the jump. But what if they are good enough? Why punish teams? Here's an idea. Just spitballing with some common sense. Let's not allow 362 teams to play Division I basketball? Wonder if the NCAA ever thought about that one. Simple - cap the number of teams allowed in a certain division. That is until we use promotion/relegation which would still be awesome. See ya, Chicago State.

But hiding stats? That's jus sad. Something even Goodell would be scared to do. It even got to the point that Virginia's Attorney General was out here fighting the good fight for the Dukes:

The boys are good enough to win their conference. The boys are good enough to let them play in a bowl game. Let the boys play! At the minimum don't be complete asses and let the stats be shown. Stop hiding the truth!
