Antonio Brown Spent The Weekend in Jail

Daily Mail - Antonio Brown spent the weekend in jail for allegedly neglecting to pay child support to the mother of one of his children.

The 35-year-old was booked on Sunday before being released on $15,000 bond.

Brown's ex-partner Wiltrice Jackson claims Brown owes her $31,000 in unpaid child support. The two hare a daughter, Antanyiah, who was born in 2008.

My goodness what a name. Wiltrice Jackson. Never heard that one before. It's sounds like the male version of Beatrice. Or the name of a tertiary character in Wallace and Gromit. Or a political rival of George Washington. I certainly did not have Wiltrice pegged (bonk) as one of Antonio Brown's three baby mama's.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say this exact same blog has been written before. I haven't done the research, I'm just wildly speculating, but I'm fairly positive Antonio Brown gets arrested for not paying child support every other week. That's probably excessive. I just know this dude HATES child support. Antonio Brown is a noted "fuck them kids" guy.

I know he was only in jail for the weekend, but Antonio Brown strikes me as a guy who would thrive in there. He seems like a person who makes the best out of any situation. As much trouble has he gets himself into, I don't think I've ever seen a video where he doesn't look like he's having a fucking blast.

Tell me that dude wouldn't have the best time with his prison pals. He would absolutely love being the best athlete in the yard, dominating everyone in whatever sport he's playing that day. Him and his boys would pull fun pranks on the guards and make cool dance TikTok's. I bet he still has enough money to get all commissary snacks he wants. Could probably even have one of those little TV's in his cell. He clearly still works out like a maniac, and he'd even have more time to get jacked while locked up. It seems like prisoners all have phones nowadays.  Fingers crossed if he ever goes to prison for real they let him have one. The crazy tweets and Instagram posts he'd send from there would be top tier entertainment. Being behind bars for a stretch of time could be good for him too. Maybe it'd give his brain a chance to reset a bit. By the time he gets out he might be in a stable enough place to convince the Ravens to finally sign him. Say he goes to jail next year and gets out in time for the 2026 season. Antonio Brown will still be only 38, and Lamar Jackson will most likely still be throwing passes to Nelson Agholor + a series of grocery baggers.

Or maybe he'd hate in there. It's possible prison is not as fun as it looks on TV and TikTok.

The quotes from Wiltrice (who seems lovely by the way, I apologize for the name jokes) are actually pretty sad. They have a 15-year daughter, and she sounds like she really just wants her dad to be in her life.

She also wants the former NFL wide receiver to be more 'involved' in their 15-year-old daughter's life as she begins to receive track-and-field scholarship offers from major US schools.

'By him having a daughter like an athlete like her, you would think he'd be in her corner to support her,' Jackson said.

At least he passed down some of his good genes. If his daughter is lucky, his athletic traits are all he passed down. Thankfully CTE isn't hereditary. That is sad though. As Wiltrice said, you'd think a daughter who excels in athletics and is receiving scholarships from big time schools would be something that Antonio Brown could relate to. You'd think he'd take an interest in that, and might actually be a good source of advice for her. He's just way too far gone. Hopefully some day he'll pull himself together and become something that at least resembles a functional adult. But based on everything you've seen in the news since his last NFL game where he pranced off the field shirtless, I'm not sure that'll ever happen.

On an entirely different note, I'd love to get a good detailed look at Antonio Brown's finances. I bet those are wild. The amount of money he owes in legal fees. What his current stream of income looks like. How much he owes in taxes. Does he even know what taxes are? I'm assuming he has an accountant taking care of him to some degree. I sure hope he does. That's probably the man I need to talk to. I'd imagine Antonio Brown himself doesn't have the slightest idea what his finances look like, and just spends whatever the hell he wants whenever the hell he wants because he's lived his whole adult life with a seemingly endless bank account. That's gonna run out eventually though. Considering he's refusing to pay a 31,000 in child support, maybe it already has.
