Astros Fans Got So Excited The Playoffs Are Back At Minute Maid Park That They Started Fighting Each Other

I’m not a fighter. I can’t imagine that this is surprising to anybody. I don’t exactly give off fighter vibes. I think people who fight at sporting events are fucking idiots. With that said, if you are going to fight somebody at a sporting event, I won’t condone it, but I can almost understand it if you’re coming to blows with somebody who is rooting for the opposing team. If you’re fighting somebody wearing the same colors as you, you’re very stupid.

I know that every fan base has their idiots, but I’m surprised to see this coming from Astros fans. From my experience, Astros fans are some of the most united that there are. They’ve been through this shit together. They experienced some awful years; they ascended, held strong through the sign-stealing scandal, and then became world champions again. What’s there to fight about?

If you're going to get punched in the face, regardless of whether or not you deserve it, rocking a bucket hat while doing so just isn't a great look. Outside of having your toupee fall off, I feel like that's the worst accessory to have after taking a punch. That's not to say the bucket hats can't be fashionable, but they just can't be fashionable when taking a left hook to the jaw. We'll probably never know what led to this fight. Maybe Hector Neris' blowup in the seventh inning just got these gentlemen, but here's hoping they think before they swing on each other next time.
