Ed Sheeran Has A Grave Dug For Him In His Backyard For When He Dies

Ed Sheeran confirms to GQ that he already has his own grave in his backyard ready to go: “

It’s a hole that’s dug in the ground with a bit of stone over it, so whenever the day comes and I pass away, I get to go in there. People think it’s really weird and really morbid, but I’ve had friends die without wills, and no one knows what to do.”

This is weird as fuck but I also kind of really love it. It must be nice though knowing that when you die, you won't be buried with strangers at the cemetery. You will just be comfortably laying in your own yard. That could give you a little piece of mind when thinking about how you may go.

That being said, I feel like Ed could have waited a little bit to do all this since he is young and seeing the hole I am going to spend the rest of eternity in would give me anxiety with every day being like one day closer to laying in this sucker. I am picturing it like in the Sopranos when they have people digging their own graves and he just has extra dirt in his backyard and a hole.

I like that he is prepared but I don't think having your own grave has anything to do with having a will. I think having a will could be pretty fun since I would give some weird shit to my friends in my will to just freak them out after I die. Give them my toothbrush and just say I want you to have this because I always thought of you when I used it.

There are some potential problems in all this thouhg. Like if Ed Sheeran dies before his wife, she is going to have a world of problems selling that house with her husband dead in the ground in the backyard. Unless there are sickos out there that want to buy the house knowing that Ed is buried in the backyard. Actually there are DEFINITELY sickos who would pay for to share a house with a croaked Ed Sheeran.

Regardless yeah Ed, this is weird as shit but I also kind of like it at the same time. I am just hoping he doesn't practice laying in it.

Also if you missed it, Ed was great with Caleb and Glenny on Sundae Conversation this week.
