Daniel Bellinger And John Michael Schmitz Were BOTH Injured On The Giants Tush Push, Which Is Further Proof That The Play Should Only Be Run By Professionals (AKA The Eagles)

Let's go live to Chicago to see Steven Cheah's reaction to players getting hurt doing the Tush Push!

Disgusting.

Anyway, can the Giants officially rip the Tush Push out of their playbook, crumple it up, and rub it on the much-malgined MetLife turf that tears everything it touches to ribbons? I know that the NFL is a copycat league thanks to all the copycat broadcasters that have said the same phrase for decades now. But just because a team with the best offensive line and a diesel quarterback that can squat a billion pounds can do it doesn't mean any football team can do it. ESPECIALLY a football team that can't block normal plays.

I know the Giants converted a Tush Push earlier this season but I think you should have a better play lined up for a big moment in the game. Or at least one that you did in a live practice.

Blogger's Note: Fuck Pat Leonard

Every Giants fan with a brain realized this play was destined to fail once we saw Shane Lemieux and Mark Glowinski were the ones in charge of pushing Daniel Jones' ass since they can't move defensive players 1-on-1, let alone behind a mass of humanity. Hence why they aren't able to start on Big Blue's Swiss cheese offensive line. Wait, did I just come up with a nickname for the Giants offensive line over the last decade in Big Blue Swiss Cheese or is my brain so clouded with hatred for this team, I can't think straight? Probably the latter.

To be clear, I have no problem with the Tush Push play other than the nonstop debates about it and the name making me feel weird. As much as I hate to admit it, the Brotherly Shove is actually the perfect name because it has Philly vibes for a play that should be run exclusively by the NFL team in Philly. Hell, Jordie has essentially started a blog series chronicling each team that simply refuses to acknowledge that the Eagles are running a play that is perfect for their personnel and get blown up in big spots because they aren't built for it.

I would say last night was a reminder for the Giants to focus on what actually works based on their personnel, which granted isn't a whole hell of a lot right now. However based on the coaching performance we've seen this season, I am starting to believe that they are not only going to stubbornly continue to run the Tush Push play but may run it even more and are now signing guys off the street to help run it.

JK, I'm happy Justin Pugh got signed since he seemed to want to come here and literally nothing can be worse than the shit we watched last night. The Giants had four guards playing on the offensive line and if Pugh gets called up before Andrew Thomas returns, we can possibly have an O-Line built with nothing but guards, which should work wonders against superhuman NFL pass rushers.

I'm sorry, I've been cranky since I woke up this morning and remembered the Giants game happened. Unfortunately we still have 13 more weeks of this shitty season left and I don't have a lot of faith they are going to turn it around right now. Or after this week's Dolphins game. Or next week's Bills game. Fuck the beginning of this schedule is a gauntlet.
