Good Clean Fan Fight: Chargers Fan Knocks Out Raiders Fan, Sends Him Tumbling Down Stairs

What a beautiful stadium. SoFi looks like lovely place to watch a game. The multiple different level, the clean looking turn, the powder blue and yellow color scheme. The pleasure of watching a team as volatile as the San Diego Chargers. It's all terrific. And if the Raiders are in town, chances are you'll catch a good clean fight.

What I appreciate about this fight is that is stayed between 2 people. I love a full-out chaotic fan brawl as much as the next guy, but sometimes you need to let a situation be settled by the 2 parties involved. The 2 fans had beef, and they settled it with violence. Sometimes that's the only option.

If I only we knew what was said to spark the fight. Did he say something about Justin Herbert's inability to anticipate throws the way you would expect a $262 million dollar quarterback should? Maybe he said something bad about Chandler Jones. I know Chandler being insane on the internet, but he's clearly going through something right now. Keep his name out your mouth Chargers fan. Or maybe he called him a fat bitch. Could have been anything.

I will say, before knocking him down to the concrete, Chargers fan gave him a fair warning. Raiders fan got up in his face, and Chargers fan gave him a modest "warning headbutt". But Raiders fan didn't heed his warning. He tried to plow forward. At that point he had no choice but to throw a right hook to his temple.

And to Raiders fans credit, he responded to the punch like a gentleman. Sure he was fully concussed, but like any good prize fighter, he got up and came back for seconds. Coming back for seconds is respectable. It wasn't until he was knocked off his feet a second time that he realized it was time to throw in the towel. After the second knock down, he gathered himself, returned to his feet, and went back to watching his beloved Raiders fall to 1-3.

A good clean fight between adults wearing jerseys of football players 20 years younger than them. Fair play all around.

Unfortunately, if you Twitter search 'Raiders fan', you'll see that not all stadium fights during the Chargers-Raiders game were handles so amicably. I'm not sure what happened leading up to this man being led out of the stadium by an entire police force, but that's what happens when you can't handle your stadium fight like a grown up.

P.S. -- There's a also a very funny 'Raiders fan' video of a man snorting coke in the stands. I'd include it in here but I don't really want to post this guy's full face. You can find that one yourself if you so choose.
