QB1 Derrick Henry Just Threw The 4th Touchdown Pass Of His Career

A running back pass and a big man touchdown reception? Today is a good day. This begs the question, are the Tennessee Titans better with Derrick Henry playing quarterback? I mean, have you seen Ryan Tannehill this year? I feel like Derrick Henry is one of those running backs who has already passed his perceived expiration date. The guy has been a beast for a long time, and while he will probably never be the 2,000 yard rusher that he was several years back, the guy could still be a legit bruiser. And he's got a rocket of an arm near the goal line.

How come other teams don't do this? It's essentially just a read-option play, right? I'm not going to claim to know the Xs & O's of Football, but 99% of the time, a defense will sell out for the run when you're in the wildcat formation. The field obviously shrinks near the goal line. Adding in that passing threat makes this play somewhat unguardable.

Are the Cincinnati Bengals a bad roster that just happens to have a great quarterback and receiver combination? I didn’t think so, but Joe Burrow is clearly injured, and the rest of the team is playing like the 2019 Bengals. I don’t think the Titans are very good at all, but they are steamrolling Cincinnati today. We’re still technically less than a quarter of the way through the season, but certain teams are burying themselves early, and Cincinnati is definitely one of them.
