David Bakhtiari Is A Fucking Asshole. And I Kind Of Love It.

This photo was from the middle of Sunday's dick stomping the Packers gave the Bears at Soldier Field. Written about extensively here.

Obviously, Bears fans and Chicago as a whole hate David Bakhtiari's fucking guts. Guy shits down the Bears throats twice a year every year. He along with the cousin-fucking Packers fans up in Brown County Wisconsin "own Chicago". Nobody's disputing it anymore. Especially after coming into Solider Field with a rag-tag group of offensive pieces lead by a quarterback who signs his name like this -

Just flat out demoralizing on every front.

But this? Seeing Bakhtiari give it to the Soldier Field crowd from the trenches is as poetic as it gets. Not gonna lie, as much as I want to hate it and say "fuck Chicago? No fuck you David Bakhtiari!" I can't because I love the move so much and wish we saw way more of it in sports today.

Give us more guys like Bakhtiari who are beyond loyal, and literally bleed their team colors.

In fact Bakhtiari is STILL looking out for the guy he protected all those years, who just shredded his achilles in New Jersey on Monday Night. Going straight for the jugular of the NFL accusing them of causing it -

That's passion. It's gone the way of the dodo bird in sports over the years as salaries have grown astronomical and free agency means today's rival/enemy is probably tomorrow's teammate.

That's why I think David Bakhtiari is the fucking man. He loves that the opposing team and its fans hate him.

He relishes it.

He calls himself a "menace"

And he's not just all talk. He backs it up by kicking fucking asses on the field.

And talks shit to the fans.

He would make an amazing wrestling heel. I think he was born for it.

Like Kevin Garnett, or Joakim Noah, or Terrell Owens, those guys you fucking hate when they're the opposition, but equally fucking love when they play for your team, the polarizing ones who actually seem to give a shit about the game as much as we do- we need more guys like that. We need more David Bakhtiari's.

p.s. - it's also awesome he rocks #69. obviously. if I was a pack fan I would 1000% own this jersey
