Does Aaron Rodgers Injury Add To Tom Brady’s Legacy?

I think I speak for all football fans when I say it sucks that Aaron Rodgers got hurt last night.   His storyline with the Jets was going to be one of the most intriguing things to follow all season whether you were rooting for him or against him and it ended before it even started. Now I’ve heard lots of Jets fans complaining about the Meadowlands turf and blaming it on that.  While I agree that the turf could have played a factor you also can’t overlook Rodgers age either.  He’s closing in on 40 and father time eventually gets us all.   All except Tom Brady of course.   Seriously that was one of the 1st things I thought about last night.  Just how insane it was that Tom Brady was still able to dominate well into his 40’s.   While all his contemporaries were physically falling apart Tom never showed any signs of slowing down.  Peyton Manning couldn’t throw anymore.   Eli turned to mush.  Aaron Rodger’s Achille’s heel just exploded on a seemingly harmless play.   And then there was Brady.   He was like Bruce Willis in Unbreakable.  You just get the feeling nothing could ever stop him.  Like I think if he wanted to come out of retirement right now and play for the Jets he’d lead them to the superbowl.  Also I got to admit I always thought Alex Guerrero was sort of a snake oil salesman who weaseled his way into Tom’s life.   But history may tell a very different story with him.   Like the Brady Method may actually end up being the modern day Fountain of Youth after all.
