NHL Team: Carolina Hurricanes

Conference: Eastern

Division: Metropolitan

2022-23 Recap: One of the best seasons in recent memory for the Canes. Rod the Bod had his boys humming all year even through all the injuries to top players. Breaking the 50-win barrier is a serious move for anyone but this team did it with a roll-the-lines mentality. Against Florida in the Conference Final, their lack of offense was exposed and they were swept according to most people.

The show they put on at the Stadium Series Game was all-time, check out the Vlog if you don't believe me.

Biggest Loss: Max Pacioretty - Max was supposed to be the elite goal scorer that the Canes always lacked but injuries never let it happen.

Biggest Addition: Dmitry OrlovThe Veteran D-man gives even more depth to a backline that had a great year. He will let Burns take fewer minutes which will help preserve him for the playoff stretch.

2023-24 Outlook: They will of course make the playoffs and this is when their season really starts. This group has had too much regular season success not to reach a Stanley Cup Final. Currently the favorite to win the Cup at +800

Player To Watch: Andrei Svechnikov - His season-ending knee injury was devastating to the Canes and their offense. If he comes back healthy and can quickly return to form watch out because this guy can change the axis of the game.

2023-2024 Season Bet: Martin Necas scores 30+ goals +250, Canes puck-lines at home.
