Silver Lining For Italians: They Have Giusy Meloni All Over Their Screens To Help Them Get Over That USA Ass Kicking
I will not apologize for the USA beating the shit out of Italy this morning. That's what we're supposed to do in basketball, no matter who we send to wear the red, white and blue. Not my fault Paolo Banchero decided to play for America instead of Italy. Not my fault that Mikal Bridges remembered he's awesome and made this game basically unwatchable after the first 12 minutes or so.
But this isn't a game recap. We don't need that here. This is a silver linings blog to help all the Italians across the sea and down at the Jersey shore. This is my way to introduce you all to Giusy Meloni, say hi.
I don't know if she's a basketball fan, her job is to talk Milan soccer. I'm just using a sporting event to tie this all together. Old blogging trick. Not a bad time to be a Milan fan. They have Pulisic and Musah and are unbeaten in the first 3 games of Serie A. They also have Giusy Meloni to help get scores and stories to the fans. See, this is her in action:
So it's not all bad for Italy. You learned that you're not close to America in basketball, which was expected. But hey you have Giusy Meloni and we have Shannon Sharpe calling Stephen A. Smith 'Skip' on a regular basis now. Consider that a win.
