Jonathan Gannon Forgets The Cardinals Are Complete Dogshit, Won't Name A Starting QB To Keep A 'Competitive Advantage'

Gotta hand it to Jonathan Gannon here, who by all reports said this with a straight face. Either the man knows how to deliver a punchline or he's batshit crazy. I'm starting to lean towards the crazy side:

Can't say I'm surprised, I mean it was the easiest prediction ever:

Now we have him saying he's not naming a quarterback to maintain a competitive advantage. That makes sense …except when you realize his quarterbacks are Joshua Dobbs or Clayton Tune. That's one hell of an advantage to have. How could a professional team prepare for Joshua Dobbs or Clayton Tune? Impossible!

I've been debating this - mostly by myself, because this is what happens when you work from home all day - who is most worthless/forgotten NFL team? I think it's gotta be the Cardinals. It doesn't make sense that they were in the NFC East for the longest time. They've changed names from St. Louis to Phoenix to Arizona. They've made the playoffs six times in my lifetime - I'm 36. They are more known for hosting the Super Bowl than doing anything else. At least a team like the Texans are newer. I really think it's the Cardinals.

They are clearly tanking. I don't blame them. Murray hurt, they can get a Caleb Williams or whatever quarterback they want next year. It's not the easiest sport to tank in, but having a dogshit quarterback helps. Also having a coach making rocket sounds and looking like Murr from Impractical Jokers is a good way to do it.
