We're Getting New Albums From Zach Bryan And Drake Tonight At Midnight. Get Excited.

Rolling Stone- ZACH BRYAN’S VISION has never been more his own than on his forthcoming self-titled studio album. Ahead of the record’s release on Aug. 25, the country singer shared the complete 16-song tracklist, the entirety of which he wrote and produced himself. “Really proud to call the writing and production on somethin’ all mine,” he wrote on Instagram. “I didn’t make this album to appease people who will never be happy anyways, I made it for my people.”

Zach Bryan features four collaborations, including appearances from War and Treaty on “Hey Driver,” Kacey Musgraves on “I Remember Everything,” Sierra Ferrell on “Holy Roller,” and the Lumineers on “Spotless.”

Bryan teased the Lumineers feature on Instagram last week, sharing a snippet with the caption: “The admiration started when I was 16 and hasn’t stopped since … Some of the kindest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of talking to.”

I really wanted to ask Bri last night what we can expect out of this album but I didn't want to make things awkward. Zach Bryan literally doesn't miss so we all know this album will be incredible. The question is what track is going to be the "Something In The Orange" off of this album.

Here's what the tracklist looks like.

Zach Bryan Tracklist
1. “Fear & Friday’s (poem)”
2. “Overtime”
3. “Summertime’s Close”
4. “East Side of Sorrow”
5. “Hey Driver (ft. War and Treaty)”
6. “Fear and Friday’s”
7. “Ticking”
8. “Holy Roller (ft. Sierra Ferrell)”
9. “Jake’s Piano/ Long Island”
10. “El Dorado”
11. “I Remember Everything (ft. Kacey Musgraves)”
12. “Tourniquet”
13. “Spotless (ft. The Lumineers)”
14. “Tradesman”
15. “Smaller Acts”
16. “Oklahoma Son”

If I had to bet, my money's on the song "Spotless" with the Lumineers since every single song they put out just hits me in the plums and makes me want to cry like a bitch. I can see that one being a tear jerker.

We've also got a new one from Drake on the way.

Drake's new album was rumored to be a surprise release, like some of his last few.

But on Tuesday (Aug. 22), the official Amazon Music Twitter account appeared to let the cat out of the bag. While posting the album cover, the account revealed the release date in a since-deleted post.

"Drizzy's son has a future as a cover artist," the account posted. "New @Drake August 25."

The release date follows the timeline Drake established at a July 26 concert, when he told the audience, “Make new friends. If you drink, drink some liquor. If you smoke, smoke some weed. And if you like somebody, like my dad says, keep fucking. I will be back soon. I have an album dropping for you in, like, two weeks or some shit. But until then, just know, you’re always with me and I’m always thinking of you. Everything I do is for you. Every time I step in that booth, I hope I make you proud.”

In other It’s All A Blur Tour news, it was reported recently that the tour is pulling in about $4.5 million in revenue per show. Which is pretty fucking unreal.

Drake's doing a special session of OVO radio tonight which is the real smoking gun that this baby is dropping

Fans have speculated that the album title, and even the artwork drawn by his son, symbolize him revisiting the “old Drake,” which he’s hinted at previously. “I’m tired of everybody coming up to me, [saying] ‘man… we miss that old Drake man. We need that old Drake man,’” he said in July. “Imma give it to you then.”

Which is great fucking news. Because I think everybody can agree on the fact old Drake was the fucking man.

Seeing his concert when he stopped by Chicago a few weeks ago, it is INSANE how many hits the guy has from years ago that you completely forget about. How many features he was on that carried other artist's songs. He did nearly everything in the show and it was clear from just seeing and hearing the crowd, everybody went crazy when he performed his older shit.

We know the new album will have features from Bad Bunny and Nicki Minaj. Some other rumored features, however, are still up in the air. Earlier this week, Zane Lowe shut down speculation that Frank Ocean would make an appearance on For All The Dogs, which sucks because he'd sound great on a Drake hook or going back and forth with him.

We don't have a tracklist yet, or confirmed features, but Lil Yachty said he got to hear the album and it was so good he almost crashed his car.

Tonight at midnight set to be a big music night like we haven't seen in some time.
