An Applebee’s Manager Literally Had To Ask A Group Of College Kids To Stop Eating So Many Of Their Unlimited Wings

Ahhhh a classic tale of 2 cities. The Jets v. The Sharks. The College Kids vs. the local Applebees' deals. A tale as old as time! Obviously anyone that's ever been to a college town knows that all the restaurants there have awesome deals for the students knowing that's how they'll make money while trying to give the students a nice cheap deal as they are, quite literally, college students. And this particular Applebee's seemingly went above and beyond with their college deals by offering an ALL YOU CAN EAT wings deal which is ludicirous for a college town!

Back in my day when hot dogs used to cost a nickel we would have a thing called half apps which, as you could probably guess, is half-priced appetizers past 10pm. We used to go every Thursday night in high school to strategize the upcoming weekend & it's some of my most fond memories from high school though I guess that was the minor leagues compared to all-you-can-eat wings! That leads me to the golden question- Where does one have to draw the line at all-you-can-eat?

On one hand you have the hungry students taking advantage of the deal. On the other hand you have the workers trying to slow it down to save cash. Ya know what should happen here? There should be some sort of corporate hotline you can call to Applebee's HQ where they send in money to deal with the folks that go overboard. That's the only fair solution here. They can swing the cash whenever something like that happens.
