Frank The Tank: Blogger, Super Fan...Motivational Speaker

A lot happened today. A JV employee was (rightfully) shamed for taking a vacation. Sororities did those weird dances. Johnny Manziel's doc dropped. Bald Paul showed up , and we haven't even got to Hard Knocks tonight. It's been a hell of a day so far. But without a doubt the biggest news of all was Barstool being bought back by Dave Portnoy.

A great day in the history of a company with a ton of great days. The news is so massive it will fully take me a few days to really process how monumental a day it is. As of right now it's best to say that the news was so big it really has left me speechless. Massively grateful, and thankful but speechless.

While I may be speechless .. the great ones have a lot to say. Hell, the best people rise in the biggest moments. Jordan wanted the ball in Game 6, Bumgarner always wanted the ball in a big game, and Brady never even blinked needing a score late. Great ones show up. In that illustrious company of great ones is clearly Frank the Tank who may have launched a new career as a motivational speaker.

Leave it to Frank to loosely connect 8/8 with the infinity symbol while motivating a group of ball players in the biggest game of their lives (maybe a stretch there but who cares). Leave it to Frank to have a group so riled up and ready to play that he has them literally screaming for joy. Tank always has been a man of many talents. Trivia champion (which Brandon Walker will attest is very hard to do), singer, historian, and now motivational speaker.

I guess my biggest flaw was doubting he could do anything he puts his mind to. That's on me ... just like doubting Jordan or Brady ... never doubt the great ones. The Tank is a generational talent. I'm sure he will now be requested by companies, graduating classes, and hell even the Mets to get out of a slump now that this talent has been shown to the world. The requests will be flooding in. If you thought his Cameo business was booming before... brother do I have a story to tell you. He's about to blow up!

Final thought ...

The guy on the end burying his head because he can't keep a straight face is gold.
