Public Shaming Works: Wrongfully Suspended Play By Play Man Kevin Brown Will Return To O's Broadcast Booth On Friday

Yesterday the baseball world exploded after news surfaced that Orioles lead play by play man Kevin Brown had been suspended for weeks after bringing up bad stats about previous seasons. It's as dumb as it sounds, the guy simply read numbers off a graphic about the team's struggles against the Rays. Suspended.

Jake Marsh nearly had a stroke upon finding this out. .

Somehow the O's leadership didn't think anyone would catch onto their play by play man being absent with no explanation while the birds surged to the top of the AL. The team was getting more eyeballs than ever before so they decided to silence their main voice. Smart. They somehow didn't suspect anyone would go digging and that it wouldn't become a story, but we're also talking about John Angelos here.

Meanwhile it was EVERYWHERE yesterday. Hell, CNN even covered it.

Well, it took less than 24 hours for John to realize he completely fucked this whole situation. Kevin Brown will be back in the booth on Friday. Public shaming and bullying works.

Honestly,Kevin Brown should be asking for double his salary and an in-person apology in front of a sold out Camden Yards crowd. He has so much leverage here it's nuts.

I NEED him to start off the broadcast talking about how bad they've been leading up til 2023. Just list off all the bad stats you can find. The O's are 7-9 against the Mariners in the 2020s, gasp! They actually haven't had a winning decade vs. Seattle since the 1990s. Pour it on Kevin. Make John Angelos and his goons squirm.
