A Complete And Thorough Breakdown Of This 'Perfect Sandwich' Study (Hint: Everything About The Study Is Completely Wrong)

[Post] - The perfect sandwich, according to a survey of 2,000 Americans, consists of tomato (54%), cheddar cheese (39%) and Black Forest ham (39%).

The survey also found that the average American craves a sandwich four times a week. 

For favorite ingredients, barbecue sauce, mayonnaise and honey mustard topped the list, all at 58%. The least favorite was ranch (26%).

According to 38% of those polled, sitting on the beach is the best place to bite into a sandwich.

The best places to enjoy a sandwich are at the beach (38%), at home (36%), or in a park (36%).

This might be the most mad I've ever been at a 'study.' Yeah, I know they are dumb and don't tell the whole story, but look at some of these answers. The best place to eat a sandwich is on the beach? Are you kidding me? That might be the worst place. You gotta deal with sand, you gotta deal with seagulls flying around. Unless you're sharing it with a pal, it's easily the worst spot for a sandwich: 

The best place to eat a sandwich is your favorite seat in your house. You know the spot, it could be a recliner, it could be at the table, but anywhere inside your house is easily number 1. You get to control the temperature and don't have birds flying around you. Maybe you even break a piece off for your dog and get to see him all happy. That right there alone just makes this study null and void.

But then there's the actual sandwich debate. I'm a big sandwich guy, love them. We're really going ham as number 1? Fuck outta here. Not even just 1, ham took 3 of the top-5 answers! What is wrong with people? Ham is fine, if that's what's offered, fine. But there are so many better options for deli meat. Give me a buffalo chicken type deli meat or anything with a little flavor on the chicken. Give me the prosciutto or the roast beef. All of those would be better options than ham getting 3 outta 5 spots.

But the most egregious? This right here:

Pickles being 5th? What is wrong with people? I try to have an optimistic view on society but this, this is enough to make me hate everyone. Pickles are awesome and belong on every sandwich. A tomato stinks, get that out of there. Pickles are a clear number 1 and it ain't close. I don't know anyone who wants a tomato over a pickle.
