A Bunch Of Guys Have Turned Down Being In 'Quarterback' Season 2 Because It Shows Too Much Personal Life And Other Shit Reasons

What the hell is this? I don't care for it that's what I have at least so far. I mean season 1 of Quarterback was awesome. Easy watch, perfect for the summer to get us ready for football season. Got to see Mahomes train and learn more about him. Kirk Cousins became beloved by everyone. Marcus Mariota, he was there. But either way we at least had a few days worth of easy watching on TV during a time where we are craving football.

Now it turned to season 2 and who would be on. It's clear they are trying to get 3 different levels of quarterbacks. The elite, the solid starter who is dealing with pressure and then the journeyman/new guy. Perfect recipe. Now we have Tua, Hurts, Howell, Fields and Stafford all turn it down. There are only so many quarterbacks! Feel like you gotta get Burrow or Allen for the Mahomes role. Give me Russell Wilson or Jared Goff for the Cousins role and then any starting quarterback for the last role. It's just now a matter of who.

I hate the reasons too. Oh Tua doesn't want to be in the public more? Guy, you're a starting quarterback in the NFL after starting at Alabama. Tough to get more in the public than that. Hurts has some inspirational quote about it all? Fart sound. Hard Knocks is quickly dying. Quarterback was the perfect fill in to give us the behind the scenes look at stuff we never get. I get that people have the right to say no, but come on, we're on season 2. This is still new. There's still time for all of us to enjoy it and not complain about it like we do with Hard Knocks.

Gonna need Peyton Manning to step in here and start demanding guys do it. We need summer docs like Quarterback to get us through the dog days.
