The Food Wasn't Safe To Eat On A 12-Hour Flight So The Crew Stopped And Got Each Passenger One Single Piece Of KFC Chicken

So the way the story goes is that the food originally prepared for the 12-hour flight got left out and became "unsafe" to eat or else  the entire plane would be full of diarrhea havers lined up to blow up the bathroom.

The plane’s catering carts were not properly chilled, so all the food meant for the 12-hour flight to London had to be thrown out.

After having received a B- in my Food Science 101 course at THE Ohio State University, I can confirm that food being left out between 40 degrees and 140 degrees Fahrenheit is in the Danger Zone. Bacteria on things such as chicken can double nearly ever 20 minutes if this is the case. So I get it, the crew had to toss it all. And in my opinion, credit to them for trying to do their best to put a bandaid on the situation.

After the plane landed in Nassau, in the Bahamas, for a stopover, the crew arranged alternative catering: several buckets of chicken from KFC.

Who can be mad at that? I guess there's an argument to be had that you could've delayed the next flight until you find an acceptable replacement, but aside from the vegetarians aboard, is KFC not a fucking awesome meal for a plane right? I say Kudos to the crew for not getting some lame ass sandwiches from the convenience store inside the airport and actually getting some fried ass chicken.

The only problem was…..they didn't get near enough.

"Giving some lucky passengers 1 piece of chicken"

I won't mention that the girl in the photo has multiple pieces of chicken, but I will mention that I'd rather have zero KFC than 1 piece of chicken. If you can't get me a few pieces of chicken, some mashed potatoes, maybe a biscuit or two, and a drink, then I can't do it. One piece of fried chicken is just going to make me hungrier.

People were understandably upset getting off the plane, and shockingly the Rich voiced their concerns the loudest.

Both business class and economy passengers got the same meal: fried chicken.

As a never having flown anything but the cheapest middle seat option on a plane, this doesn't strike a nerve to me. But is this an issue? Do you motherfuckers get more than peanuts and a can of soda poured over ice up there?

Anyways, thoughts and prayers to the heroic members aboard this flight that made it 12 hours without eating. The only time I can do that is when I pass out at 6 pm on a Saturday after day drinking and don't wake up until 6 am on Sunday.
