Scuba Diver Nearly Jumps Directly Into A Shark's Mouth

Tons of shark news in the last few weeks. Haven't seen sharks dominate the news since Dave released a best seller. Fresh off the news of a shark swimming in ankle deep water , we have a girl nearly become a hot plate special in the ocean. Wild wild video. Lot to unpack here. 

The first thing that jumps out is obviously that she survived it. Coming that close to a shark is something you never forget so great to see she avoided being chomped down on. What stood out to me was that she had the foresight to look in first. I imagine this is a tactic used by people who know what the fuck they are doing, because my dumb ass would have just jumped right in the water. If she didn't dunk her head in she's a goner. 

Off of that though, did she really think kicking her flippers at him was going to stop the shark? Did she not think if he got a grip of the flippers she was immediately getting pulled in? And that was a risk she was willing to take? Absolutely bizarre behavior. I know she probably froze up in a moment of shock, but thinking the flippers were any sort of defense was the wildest move I had seen in a while. 

The fact remains... never fuck with sharks and always look twice before diving in.
