UPDATE: Mbappe Reportedly Doesn't Want To Move To Saudi Arabia And Would Rather Sit On PSG's Bench All Year

[Source] - Relevo reported that Mbappe 'does not want to play in Saudi Arabia' despite Al-Hilal's stunning bid.

The Madrid based outlet claims Mbappe is determined to see out the final year of his contract with the reigning French champions.

Mbappe is reportedly 'willing to sit on the bench all season' as he runs down his deal'.

I'm honestly shocked it took this long for someone, anyone to run with a report about whether or not he'd take the deal. Shit, the only response I saw was Giannis begging to leave Milwaukee:

Crazy what $700 million will do to a man. Makes Giannis' salary look like nothing. But it's clear to anyone and everyone that the end game for Mbappe is to get to Real Madrid. I assume he doesn't want to deal with any backlash of moving to Saudi Arabia before going to Madrid. I also take that report with a little bit of a grain of salt since it comes from, you know, a Madrid based organization. I'm sure there's nothing there. 

But the entire day there have been some hilarious rumors, none better than this one: 

I know everything is amplified over in Europe when it comes to soccer. It makes NBA rumors seem light and standard. It makes the running back situation seem like JV football. But the fact we're just running with Mbappe was maybe with a model in Barcelona so that's where he's going is perfect. Get some SEC message board guys on the case and they'll track private planes like you wouldn't believe. 

Again, I don't think the move to Saudi Arabia will happen, this is just the first report we have of it not happening. With how many guys are leaving now, it's still a bit insane not to take the $775 million offer. It's a fucking absurd number, I don't know how else to describe it. Yeah, he's going to get hundreds of millions from Real Madrid, but why not get both? That seems like a good way to live, especially 4-5 generations of Mbappe's from now. 

At least he laughed at Giannis. That really helped die down all rumors.
