The American Way: Brian Harman Chugging Beers Out Of The Claret Jug At A BBQ Joint It Is A Beautiful Sight

This right here proves Brian Harman is worthy of winning The Open. He understands the tradition - drink beers out of the Claret Jug. But he puts his twist on it. A twist that any American get behind. He doesn't go to the pub. He doesn't go for some fish and chips or whatever food is a staple over there. Oh no, he went to - what Google describes - an American BBQ joint. Fuck yeah, go get some pulled pork, brisket, smoked wings and whatever else you want. 

It's only fitting after dealing with hecklers all week telling him he didn't have the balls to win: 

Or the fact The Open made him sit in a chair that's designed for a giant and he's a very normal height of 5'7". Pretty rude to make him sit there looking like my 4-year old son sitting in my chair if you ask me. Probably had his feet swaying underneath, not that there's anything wrong with that! 

I mean it can't be shocking this is where Harman ended up with the Claret Jug right? Dude is from Georgia through and through. He wanted what he's used to - British version of American bbq. I have no idea if it's good, I assume it's serviceable and they've been there before. It doesn't matter. Harman answered every single moment this past week. Never let a bad shot turn into a van de Velde, like we've seen so many leaders do at The Open. Nope, just comfortably won, comfortably sat in a normal sized chair and chugged beers. The American way. 

PS: My perfect order at a joint like this is simple. Meat sampler - get the brisket, pulled pork and spicy sausage if they so have it. Mac and cheese on the side is a must. Go spicy bbq sauce.
