It Is Absolutely Stunning To See What Hirsoshima Looks Like Today After Getting Nuked

Hiroshima today...absolutely fucking fine. Thriving, actually. It's beautiful. A bustling metropolis with about 1.2M people. If you didn't know your history you'd be stunned to find out that Hiroshima was nuked into the stone age. Reduced to a pile of rubble and radiation. Now...it looks like a beautiful mid-size city completely with new architecture and professional sports teams. 

This is one of those situations where it could just be my stupidity causing me to be stunned by how Hiroshima has recovered, but when I hear "nuclear bomb" I assume that the target is a no-go zone for like 500 years. That clearly isn't the case so knock me over with a feather. Nuclear bombs...not THAT bad!
