The Home Run Derby Was Cool And All, But The Stats Say Adley Rutschman's Sister Was The Star Of The Show

I don't know how we waited this long to blog about Adley's sister. She was the true breakout star of the Home Run Derby. I mean you want stats? Her Instagram is up over 4k from that one Twitter post.

There's no other takeaway, there's no change in how you view a player, it's a fucking home run derby. That said, Adley's sister stole the show. Forget debating like we do every year about the old Derby vs the new Derby. Forget trying to spin how this matters or doesn't matter. Just embrace the Home Run Derby for what it is. A fun ass event to watch guys hit bombs and have an ESPN camera guy keep cutting away to hot family members.

And hey, shout out Adley. He's my guy. He's the Matt Wieters that was promised for us Orioles fans. Nothing against Wieters, he just wasn't the unreal catcher we thought we were getting when we drafted him. Adley looked cool as shit with his hair flowing, going from both sides of the plate and of course having the best uniform in the game on. Fuck pinstripes, the Orioles colors/jersey combo is the best.

Doesn't matter the color of the jersey - orange, white, black, all silly for the Birds. Case in point:

Side note, it's laugh out loud funny seeing the comments under her posts now. Everything is from 12 hours ago. There's nothing weirder than those people, but hey, maybe she'll read it for you. So there's your Home Run Derby blog. I have no takeaway because it's a Home Run Derby. I don't care about the format because I'm going to watch anyways. Adley is a star, Josie is a star.
