When You Gotta Go: Soccer Player In Argentina Given A Red Card Because He Started Pissing On The Field 11 Minutes After Subbing On

Now it's a little unfair to judge here since the video doesn't show him pulling his shorts down to do it. But everything I've read (see, translated tweets) claims it happened. I mean he clearly gets a red card. But I need to know how egregious the pissing was. Think there needs to be some leeway here in terms of yellow or red card. Can't go straight red. What if he really had to piss? He was stuck on the pitch! Maybe he saw a bad patch of grass and decided to help out, ever think of that Mr. Referee? I don't think so.

I need a full interview here with Axel. If he pissed at halftime, subbed on and had to go again 11 minutes later, there may be something wrong here. If he did it out of spite then I'd be willing to accept the red card. There's nothing worse than being stuck somewhere when you have to pee. It's legit the most helpless feeling (outside of having to shit). You just start looking around trying to plan it out. You wonder how long you have until you find somewhere that's somewhat respectable, then the next thing you know you're peeing in the middle of a heated low-level Argentina soccer match. It happens to the best of us.

Quick sidenote - why does this scrub club get to wear basically Argentina's knockoff jerseys? Seems like they should reserve that for a better team.

Either way, tough way to get a red card. Man just had to take a piss.
