Madonna Was Found Unresponsive On Saturday, Rushed To A Hospital And Is Now Recovering

Madonna was found unresponsive and rushed to a New York City hospital Saturday, Page Six can exclusively reveal.

We hear the “Material Girl” singer, 64, was intubated for at least one night before having the tube removed — and she is now alert and recovering.

We’re also told that her daughter Lourdes Leon was by her side throughout the ordeal.

Madonna’s longtime manager, Guy Oseary, shared on Instagram Wednesday that his client had “developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several day stay in the ICU.”

Hate to hear this. It always starts to get a little scary when some of the BIG names have any kind of health scare like this, but it sounds like despite a rough weekend, Madonna is going to be alright.

Infections have to be the scariest things to contract, right? You're not exactly sure when you started feeling like shit, and by the time you convince yourself to get checked out it's too late, you're already being rushed to the hospital. So much can go wrong. Especially, dare I say it, in New York. I live near a hospital now and I won't lie, it's made me a lot more anxious about ever needing to travel across town to get to one. The ambulances trying to leave the hospital to go pick someone up are already having a hard time just getting through traffic to get to you, let alone make the return trip in time to potentially save your life. I wonder if Madonna took a regular ambulance, or a special celebrity one? Lots to think about. Glad she's getting better!
