Zach Bryan Deserves A Grammy For Dropping A "Go Birds" On Stage Right In Daniel Jones' Face

You think about some of the names who have come before him trying to take country music back from "stadium country" which were just a bunch of word salads about trucks, beer, and the farmer's daughter. Guys like Sturgill Simpson, Tyler Childers, Colter Wall, Cody Jinks, Turnpike Troubadours. They all rip, but none of them had managed to take control over a mainstream audience the way that Zach Bryan has been able to over the past year or so. I mean this cat has the quarterback of the New York Football Giants showing up to his shows.
And then proceeding to get properly dunked on.
One of the best things to watch while Zach Bryan has been on this ridiculous rise was him transforming into a full blown Philly scumbag. While he was touring, he found himself a nice Philly girl and moved here during the Eagles run to the Super Bowl. I'm not sure if that relationship is still going on or not, but clearly ZB is a Birds fan for life. The moment you find a time and place to shoehorn a "Go Birds" into your vocabulary when you're not currently watching an Eagles game is the moment when you know you're hooked on this team for life.
Poor Daniel Jones, man. This guy just can't escape the Birds. He gets his dick stomped in by Philly in his first playoff game, tries to wash the pain away in the offseason by going to see one of his favorite artists perform, gets a chance to go up on stage with him and then gets Go Birds'd to death. All because a man from Oklahoma found love in Philadelphia. A tale as old as time.
P.S. -- Not to be THAT guy, but I was out here blogging Zach Bryan since the first week the world shut down during the pandemic. So maybe that's the reason he's a massive Eagles fan now.
