Veronika Rajek Gives Even MORE Inspiration by Soldiering on Through a Horrifying E-Scooter Crash

Very often, courage and inspiration are inexorably linked. And each come in many forms. When we see our fellow humans refusing to give up when faced with setbacks and tragedy, it can move us to do great things we never thought possible. Because their example is more powerful than mere words ever could be.

And there's no better example than Veronika Rajek. Why, she never let a thing like having a body "too dangerous for social media" stop her from bravely accumulating 5.1 million followers on Instagram:

Or from courageously shooting her shot at Tom Brady:

Or valiantly telling a skeptical world that there's nothing artificial about her, and providing the medical proof:

And Reags had the latest on Rajek's courage and inspiration, which she offered up to the Tour de France riders:

Little did we know. Little did we know, indeed. It seems that even as Rajek was offering encouragement and incentive to the men about to endure the world's most grueling bike ride, that she herself would end up in a hospital bed. The victim of a brutal fall off a bike. Of a different sort:

Source - MODEL Veronika Rajek shared a set of terrifying images from the emergency room Sunday night after a crash.

Veronika, 27, posted images to her Instagram revealing she was in hospital with a concussion and marks on her face.

The U.S. Sun understands Veronika suffered an e-scooter accident while in Milan on Sunday.

The 27-year-old captioned one of the photos stating, "Not a best day of my life."

Imagine that. Even as she's offering up her green jersey to whichever of the hundreds of riders can conquer the French Alps and win the Tour de France as that little extra incentive, it turns out she's the one who needs the support. She is the very definition of fortitude. She's not worried about her own recovery, she's worried about others. And that's what true courage is all about.

It's a cruel twist of fate that that a model would wipe out and fall on her face. But hers is no less flawless because of it. If anything, it makes her all the more impressive for the way she's managing to push through the pain while encouraging the rest of humanity. Never forget: Pain heals. Dudes dig scars. Veronika Rajek's glory is forever.
