UPDATE: Conor McGregor Reportedly Sent The Heat Mascot To The ER Last Night

Earlier today, I blogged this McGregor/Heat mascot skit from halftime of the NBA Finals....

It was a quick plug for his TIDL recovery spray, which is apparently the new sponsor of the Heat, and kind of a nothing thing - but when I saw these clips last night, my initial reaction was, "Holy shit - he really swung for the fences there, didn't he?!"

I just figured he was hitting the areas of the mascot suit above the poor guy's actual head, though, because not only did the left hook land hard; the ground-and-pound shot that followed appeared to be pretty stiff as well!

Apparently, those shots appeared stiff because they were stiff, and Burnie spent the night in the ER afterwards....

Conor reading this news….

We're back in business, baby! I've said it before and I'll say it again: nobody can take that left hand! Not Jose Aldo, not Eddie Alvarez, not Burnie, and surely not Michael Chandler. This just shows the Champ Champ has still got it! He hasn't lost the speed, snap, OR power in his punches!

In fact, considering how much he's bulked up recently - he might even have more power than ever in those cinderblock hands!

If I'm Michael Chandler reading this, I'm getting VERY nervous. How are you supposed to take those shots if Burnie the Mascot can't???

P.S. McGregor and Deontay Wilder are just a mascot wrecking crew now….

You got a mascot you need to take down? You call one of them - or Randall Simon, I guess….
