You Have No Other Choice But To Fight If Someone Smacks Your Ass After Scoring On You

It's been a brutal week so far to be the top seed in a conference tournament. We saw #1 Penn State go down in the Big Ten semifinals, we saw #1 Saint Joe's go down in the A10 semifinal, #1 Vermont lost in the America East semifinal, #1 Manhattan lost in the MAAC semifinal, #1 Boston University went down in the Patriot League semifinal, and finally we get to #1 Cornell going down to Yale in the Ivy League semifinal.

And to make matters worse--not only did Cornell lose to a team that they beat by 10 earlier in the regular season, but poor Kyle Smith got his tushy tapped after getting sniped from 13 by Yale's Leo Johnson.

Now listen. I'd never advocate for violence here on the internet. I don't condone that type of behavior. But for the love of god, you have to do something there. You can't just stand there and take that type of disrespect. Another man smacks your ass after unloading a bomb to go up by 4 in the 2nd quarter, you need to throw hands. Plain and simple, no two ways about it. The moment Cornell did nothing there to retaliate, you knew the game was over. Yale would eventually go on to win 22-15, but there was no need to play the 2nd half of the game after this booty smack celly. You can hate the actual celebration all you want, but you have to hate the lack of response even more.

Here's to hoping we get a Cornell vs Yale rubber match in the NCAA Tournament in another week or so. Nobody's rump is going to be safe.
