No Better Way To Get Drafted By The Packers Than Watching On A Cheese Colored Wall

Heading into today the Packers were without a backup QB for 24 year old Jordan Love. It would make sense for them to go out into the market and snag a wise, seasoned vet to hold the clipboard and be a guide for the kid. Well, instead of that the Packers used the draft to get their older statesman. Yes that's right, 2023 5th rounder Sean Clifford is four months older than Jordan Love. Hell yeah

Why sign a projected undrafted free agent when you can take him in the 5th round! I'm not a film expert by any means, but I watched my fair share of Penn State over the years through various gambling opportunities. All I'll say is good for him hearing his name called because I can't imagine he thought that was gonna happen, especially that early. Hopefully he's a savant at dissecting film because if he sees the field in any real fashion that means things have gone horribly wrong.

I saw a few people online saying Clifford was taking as a confidence builder for Love. When you have these two going at it in camp you're going to feel a lot better about Jordan Love's game. That could have been the thinking here, or maybe they saw the cheese colored wall Clifford and his family were watching the draft on via projector and knew it was a match made in heaven. Same kinda setup you probably used in college to watch sports off an illegal website.

If I didn't know any better I'd assume an enemy just tossed in some mustard gas to smoke them out. Credit to these folks for being able to see Clifford's name up there. Battling through that kind of adversity should suit him well for what's to come on the practice field. Best of luck sir, I respectfully hope I never have to see you on the field.
